Although Guadalhorse Golf is practically surrounded by Malaga's industrial areas, the golf club is an oasis and a welcome refuge from the city's stress.
The first nine holes are flat and free from many difficulties and makes them quite easy to play while the last nine are hillier with raised greens and tougher fairways. The golf course is easy to walk, but not easy to get a tee off time on weekends, as it is well located in Malaga for everyone working there.
Here, as on Parador Golf, you are disturbed by the airplane`s noice, especially at start, depending on wind direction.
But we like Guadalhorse for their hospitality and here a lot of Scandinavians gather during the winter months to hang out.
The golf course usually has high standard and has a welcoming, good-value restaurant, which even makes the visit better.
