Santana Golf, located in Mijas near Fuengirola and La Cala in southern Spain, is designed by Cabell B. Robinsson and is 6203 meters long, built on part of a large avocado farm with a wide variety of varieties trees such as eucalyptus, orange, cactus, fig, olive, mango along with many other trees around the golf course.
A challenging long golf course with many strategically deployed obstacles and water on holes 2, 10, 15, 16 and 18. Alternating fairways and many strategically placed greens, such as hole 4, where you have to cross a river just before the green, which also is guarded by big trees and bunkers.
A well-run golf course, without buildings surrounding (at the time of writing) with beautiful views of countryside and mountains. Here you can easily walk and get more out of nature and the golf.
Santana is popular with Scandinavians and during peak season you have to book your start time in time.
