El Paraiso, paradise?
Well, that's a slight exaggeration. But you have a colorful bird (Hoopoe) as a symbol and resembling the flower / plant sometimes called "The Bird of Paradise". Well, the whole area exudes a paradise of calm and a cozy atmosphere and is located just west of San Pedro along Coast road N340.

The clubhouse is an old finca (farm), which is carefully restored and rebuilt to meet the demands of today's golfers.

El Paraíso is a very nice golf course and have walking character, and easy to walk around without effort. A pair of holes goes uphill but does not cause any problems for anyone with a low level of fitness.

Of course there is construction around virtually the entire golf course, but on the right distance and not at all disturbing, but certainly a powerful slice or hook can land in a garden on some of the holes.

That the area is so well-liked got its explanation when I spoke to a member afterwards. An English gentleman, who thought the club was oversized with golf workers who would together be able to take care of 3 golf courses.
On both good and evil of course. Many members and green fee guests may prefer a lower fee, while others certainly appreciate a well-appointed facility.
Personally, I appreciate a well-run golf course with well-rounded surroundings and such
is El Paraiso.
I also think that it is one of the reasons for remembering this golf course and would like to return.
