To Montecastillo Golf, designed by Jack Niclaus and located in Jerez de la Frontera, it takes 2 hours by car from Marbella. A fantastic facility that has hosted many major championships such as Volvo Masters.

The golf course is quite hilly with some significantly higher areas, so it provides a proper fitness test even for the well trained. Highlights are the 18th hole with tee about 40m above fairway, lined by a lake which partly also guard the green. A stunning panoramic view of Cadiz, Jerrez and the hotel.

A real highlight here besides the golf is an overnight stay to fully experience the restaurant's stunning outdoor terrace at the 18th fairway and the green. The restaurant has one of the best breakfast buffets we have seen and the evening buffet is of the 1st class.
