San Roque Golf is located in southern Spain near Gibraltar in the exclusive Sotogrande area with neighbors like Valderama, Sotogrande. San Roque currently has two 18-hole courses, The Old and The New, where the old golf course is designed by Dave Thomas and is also considered one of the best in Europe.

The Old Golf Course hosted the Open Spanish Championship in 2005 and is a member's course that welcomes green fee guests.

The old golf course is framed by many cork trees on the first nine and more water at the last. The area around Sotogrande is the oak trees country you can say.

The new golf course is designed by Perry Dye and Seve Ballestero and has been designed to be a technologically advanced golf course and hosted the Open Spanish Championship 2006
